Carey Clarke PPRHA discusses his exhibition with RHA Director, Patrick T Murphy

Carey will discuss with the Friends of the RHA his retrospective consisting of pieces from the 1960s to the present day. The exhibition comprises of over 100 artworks tracing Carey Clarke PPRHA’s career over the last 5 decades and is a wonderful opportunity for the Friends to gain insight into Carey’s career, techniques and artworks.
Gallery Walking Tour Visit the Kerlin & the Kevin Kavanagh Galleries

Meet at the Kerlin Gallery
Friends Co-ordinator, Michelle Considine will bring the Friends to visit two well known art galleries in Dublin city centre, the Kerlin Gallery and the Kevin Kavanagh Gallery to see the work of two well known painters with very differing styles, Richard Gorman RHA and Margaret Corcoran. The Friends will have the opportunity to meet both of the artists who have kindly offered to give a talk on their exhibitions exclusively for the Friends.
In the Kerlin Gallery we will meet Richard Gorman RHA, who will discuss his exhibition Kozo, an exhibition of works on handmade Japanese echizen kozo washi paper using techniques including dyed paper pulp poured into moulds. Following this we will visit Margaret Corcoran’s exhibition in the Kevin Kavanagh Gallery where Margaret will discuss her paintings, techniques and ideas with the Friend For more information see www.kevinkavanaghgallery.ie and www.kerlin.ie.

Colm Mac Athlaoich
Colm works primarily with drawing, painting and print, within many themes and influences such as colour, music, people, landscape and architecture. He paints in thick, process driven strokes, which influence the final result often creating an exciting abstraction of the reality he began with. Allyson Keehan
Allyson's practice is realistic oil painting, specifically painting drapery. Her current research is focusing on phenomenology, painting environments, and the objectless still life.
